Chart Success

Allan & Ashcraft make their way onto the music charts overseas with the help of
TSP Country Radio.

TSP Country Radio promotes independent artists in the Country, Country Christian, and Americana music genres.  TSP plays artists you won't hear on commercial radio but are as equally talented and enjoyable as more established artists like Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, and Keith Urban.

Allan & Ashcraft worked with Dixie McCorkell at TSP to submit their music for broadcast around the world through various weekly radio shows and Indie Artist Websites.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HUBIE ASHCRAFT and ALLAN MILLER of SHAKIN’ BAKE MOVE AHEAD as a DUO!

On January 11, 2011 Hubie Ashcraft and Allan Miller have made the decision to move forward as a duo, "ALLAN and ASHCRAFT." The Duo will release their first single "Sorry" to country radio and beyond later this year. Some of Radio's top executives are raving that this song will be a "top crossover single".

Dixie McCorkell, of TSP Radio, is showing her support for the music of Allan and Ashcraft promoting another song by Allan & Ashcraft called "Only Lonely". This song was released to over 400 Internet Stations world wide. You can find more out about Dixie and her business at http://www.tspcountryradio.com.

The duo, who share the same passion for music are looking forward to the opportunities this change will bring. With this opportunity, Allan & Ashcraft get to share their music world wide. They will be playing shows outside of their home base in Fort Wayne Indiana, reaching music lovers around the globe through airtime on internet, broadcast radio and live performances across the states.

Along with help from Grammy Award winning, CMA Award winning, Producer/Songwriter/Guitarist Kenny Greenberg, Allan and Ashcraft will continue to write and record original music as they work toward releasing a full album later this year. When asked about the direction the duo is headed, Allan said “We are expanding the music we play in an effort to reach people of all generations. We will continue to play top 40 hits as we did with Shakin' Bake but want to reach beyond that point to play music that has been loved by many throughout the decades.” Ashcraft also indicated that fans will be treated to a fuller sound as they add auxiliary percussion and keyboards to certain live performances. This is something new the duo is adding to their lineup for 2011 and they are excited about what it brings to their show.

Allan and Ashcraft are already receiving calls to play at venues across the United States as well as venues in their home state of Indiana. The duo, who has shared the stage with national recording artists such as Jamey Johnson, Luke Bryan, Randy Travis, Gretchen Wilson, Eric Church, and many more, will continue to do so in 2011 as well as playing state and county fairs, private events and of course, honky tonks.

Stay tuned, Allan and Ashcraft will take their fans and careers to new heights in 2011.

Thanks for supporting Hubie and Allan!!!

Allan & Ashcraft at the Indiana State Fair

Indiana's first state fair was held in 1852 making it the sixth state to begin holding a state agricultural fair.  The first state fair was held in Military Park, downtown Indianapolis and moved to it's current location on East 38th on September 19, 1892.  The state fair is well known for many things, some of which include the 4-H exhibits, midway carnival rides, the hot air balloon race, and of course the entertainment.

Many entertainers have graced the stage at the Indiana State Fair over the course of its history.  In 1956, Elvis Presley did one of his first ever TV interviews in the Communications Building shortly after recording Heartbreak Hotel.  On September 3, 1964 The Beatles performed two sold out shows to nearly 30,000 fans.  Other Indiana State Fair performers include Johnny Cash, the Jackson 5, Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, Bruce Springsteen, Def Leppard, and Rascal Flatts.

Adding to that list is Allan & Ashcraft who were asked to do a total of six acoustic performances this year.  Joining A&A for the 2011 Indiana State Fair entertainment are: Sugarland, Sara Bareilles, Janet Jackson, Train, Maroon 5, and Lady Antebellum.

Allan & Ashcraft are spreading their wings, and you never know where they will land next.  One thing is certain, you should keep your eyes on these aspiring young artists because they are on the move, they are getting noticed and coming soon to a city near you!

A&A Share the stage with Eilen Jewell

Allan & Ashcraft will have the honor and pleasure of sharing the stage with Eilen Jewell on September 15th at Fort Wayne’s own C2G Music Hall

Eilen Jewell just released her highly anticipated album “Queen of the Minor Key” in June and is already climbing the charts, making it to #1 on Roots International. Jewell’s latest release “ranges between smoky and sensual seductions, quick dance pieces, and soft ballads” said Abby Schmearer on In Your Speakers.

The critics love “Queen of the Minor Key” and are claiming it could be Jewell’s best record yet. For more on Eilen Jewell visit her website at www.eilenjewell.com and be sure to get your tickets to see her up close and personal with Allan & Ashcraft on September 15th at C2G Music Hall.

Tickets are on sale now at the following locations: C2G (online or in person), Neat, Neat, Neat Records, and Wooden Nickel Records.
